2. Dentro l'Arte della Recitazione con Sandro Lombardi (Insights on Acting with Sandro Lombardi), 2009, documentario, DVD, colore, suono, 15 minuti, sottotitoli in inglese.

3. Trevi, 2009, documentario, DVD, colore, suono, 25 minutes.

"Dentro l'Arte della Recitazione con Sandro Lombardi" è una conversazione tra Monica Gazzo e Sandro Lombardi, attore e scrittore fiorentino. Costituisce un documento straordinario sulla sua metodologia, i suoi materiali e la sua filosofia. Presentato al pubblico per la prima volta a Maggio, 2010, presso il Saloncino del Teatro La Pergola, Firenze, Italia, con la partecipazione di Marion d'Amburgo (Attrice), Siro Ferrone (Docente Storia del Teatro, Università di Firenze), Beatrice Palozzi-Strozzi, Giuliano Scabia (Autore), Valerio Valoriani (Direttore) e lo stesso Lombardi, il breve lavoro ha già influenzato considerevolmente nella tecnica altre interviste simili, come quella recentemente trasmessa su RaiUno, al noto attore cinematografico Giancarlo Giannini.

Inoltre, verrà presentata una prima stesura di circa 125 immagini dell'attuale progetto fotografico realizzato in America Latina, dal titolo provvisorio "Radici".

1. Holiday, 2006, documentary, DVD, color, sound, 8 min, original music by Jake Fleder.

2. Insights on Acting with Sandro Lombardi, 2009, documentary, DVD, color, sound, 15 min, in Italian with English subtitles.

3. Trevi, 2009, documentary, DVD, color, sound, 25 minutes.

"Insights on Acting with Sandro Lombardi" is a conversation between Monica Gazzo and Florentine actor and writer Sandro Lombardi. It's an extraordinary document on his work methodology, materials and philosophy. Screened for the first time in May, 2010, at Saloncino del Teatro La Pergola, Firenze, Italia, with the participation of Marion d'Amburgo (Actress), Siro Ferrone (University of Florence), Beatrice Palozzi-Strozzi, Giuliano Scabia (Author), Valerio Valoriani (Directore) and Lombardi, this short has already been extremely influential in its technique in similar interviews, as the one recently screened on RaiUno, with noted film actor Giancarlo Giannini.

It will also be presented a first draft of about 125 images of my recent photographic project entirely shot in Latin America, with the temporary working title of "Roots".

Monica Gazzo is a graduate from the San Francisco Art Institute (MFA). Her films have been shown at the Directors Guild of America, Hollywood, Los Angeles Filmforum, Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley, Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (Egyptian Theatre, Hollywood), Melnitz Theatre at University of California, Los Angeles, New Festival at NYU, New York City, Cleveland International Film Festival, Cleveland, Ohio, MadCat Women's International Film Festival, Angels Gate Cultural Center, Anais Nin Video & Film Diary Festival, Big Sur, California, 18th Street Arts Complex, Santa Monica, Society for Cinema Studies Conference, New Orleans, LA, State University at Binhampton (SUNY), Film Arts Festival, Roxie Cinema, San Francisco; UC Theater, Berkeley, Beaubourg Pompidou Center, Paris and the London Filmmaker's Coop, amongst other venues. She has received grants from the City of Los Angeles, Cultural Affairs and Youth Services Department, Long Beach Museum of Art / Video Annex, the Ahmanson Foundation, the California Arts Council, the California Community Foundation, the Italian Cultural Institute and others.
